Hands-on Workshop using Gmail and Igoogle homepage, Thursday 24 November and 1 December, 12.00 pm - 2.00 pm

When: Thursday 24 November and 1 December, 12.00 pm - 2.00 pm

Where: Anvil House, Level 1, Room 12

What: The purpose of the workshop is to set up:

• an email account using free Google webmail (Gmail) 
• a personal homepage using Igoogle.

The only prerequisites are:

• a basic  knowledge of how to use a mouse or touch pad 
• access to a computer with a broadband connection.

Cost per session $5 payable on the day. The first five to register will be accepted.

Session 1 – setting up a Gmail account and exploring Google tools.
Session 2 – setting up a personal homepage using Igoogle and Google gadgets
